Wed 8/1 – MAGIC CARPET RIDE (short films)
Jump on the PCFF magic carpet and get ready to ride! Explore the cinematic wonders of the world from ten different countries. No genie needed! This reel of short films will transport you to places as near as New York city to as far away as New Zealand with so many stories: a girl wanting to live in a zoo, a baby wolf raised by a bunny family and a love story between two dirigible pilots. (All ages.)
Wed 8/22 – PASSIONATE PURSUITS (short films)
People with passions so strong, they live, practice, or focus more effort towards their goal than anything else. We hope these stories inpsire and encourage you to pursue your own passion! One film is about a young Hungarian swimmer who races faster the more she practices. Another story is about a woman empowered by swimming below the ice of a frozen lake. And just as passionate is a young girl trying to protect the eggs of sea turtles on her beach. What’s your passionate pursuit? (All ages. Some films have subtitles.)
