Hiba, who worked as an engineer before settling with her family in Rochester, is the community health coordinator for Refugees Helping Refugees, a food blogger, and a recent graduate of MCC’s Culinary Arts program. Follow her on YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram at @chef_shahrazad.
Hannah Davis, folklorist and faculty member of Rochester Institute of Technology School of Individualized Study, will participate as demonstrators recount their experiences as newcomers in the Flower City and share favorite family recipes.
