Saturday, May 1 at 5 PM ET meet Helaine Becker, the bestselling author of more than 90 books for children and young adults, including Counting on Katherine: How Katherine Johnson Saved Apollo 13 and The Most Important Mathematician You Never Heard Of. Helaine is a multi-time winner of the Silver Birch Award and the Lane Anderson Award for science writing for children. Her books have been recipients of the Picture Book of the Year Award, The Cook Prize, the Giverny Prize, Bank Street Best of the Year, and more.
This is a FREE, interactive online event where children will get to hear from the author and ask questions. Recommended for grades 3 and up, but open to everyone!
